How do you find your way around a project? And what can you actually contribute? At the Nextcloud Community Conference 2026, we brought together experienced contributors for a panel session on exactly that: "Why you should contribute." What followed was a practical conversation about getting involved, learning from others, and finding your place in the community, whether you’re making your first contribution or looking to get more involved. Panel session: Why you should contribute Speakers: • Anna Larch, Developer Relations at Nextcloud • Camila San Martin Ayres, Software Engineer at Nextcloud • Christian-Fu Mueller, AI Team Lead at Nextcloud • Laura Kramolis, UX Designer at Nextcloud Moderator: Fabrice Mous, Key Account Manager Strategic Initiatives at Nextcloud Date: Sunday, September 20, 10:00 AM CEST ⚠️ Note: this is a live recording of a session from an in-person event.
