Forgot that the talk was mostly about floccus, a separate desktop/mobile app system for syncing bookmarks everywhere. With these two things you can liberate yourself from Chrome!

I haven't taken my de-Chroming aspirations very seriously. A big hesitation is that I want the feeling of security that I can open Chrome if I want to for some reason, and my bookmarks will be up to date.

One of the original and best nextcloud apps and it is so feature rich it will blow your mind. Enabled on my nextcloud so take a look.
